New construction of a seven story affordable senior housing project in Phase 1 of The Lake Merritt BART TOD . The building will incorporate 97 units with on-site healthcare and social services facilities, commercial space with food services, and bicycle parking. The TOD consists of 2 planned phases, on 2 opposing sides of the block above the existing BART Lake Merritt Station and underground tunnel. This project, Building B, will be along 8th street.
